Research and awareness:
Children's rights

The Boreal Center of Expertise for Children and Adolescents aims to develop new approaches, facilitate access to justice, improve the capacity of service providers, foster the establishment of referral networks and raise awareness among victims and their family members to the services available to them. The organization  wants to make children and adolescents aware of the rights they have.

The integral aim of the project is to set up a presentation on different children's rights and to set up publications on the different networks highlighting children's rights. The project has two parts:
 

1. Research and information gathering: Students will do research on different topics covered from laws, scientific articles, policies and all other relevant legal documents. The lawyer. supervisor will ensure that the legal information is correct before it is used for the next part.

 

2. Awareness : Students will have to set up awareness publications for social networks that will be created using the information collected during the first part. Moreover, theThe students will create a PowerPoint type presentation which they will then present.

Criteria:  

  • Excellent extension skills;

  • Excellent oral communication skills;

  • Initiative and ability to work independently;

  • Have an open mind; and

  • To be bilingual.
