Who are we ?
The National Pro Bono Student Network (PBSC) is a national pro bono organization with chapters in 22 law schools across the country aimed at improving access to justice in the country.
To do this, each section forms links with community organizations and builds projects to target the needs of their community in an organic way. While contributing to their community, our volunteer law students receive a unique legal work experiencethanks to the supervision of our partner lawyers.Together we are working on a range of projects to improve the access to justice crisis starting at home.
Through our program, law student volunteers have the opportunity to develop their legal skills. They have a real passion for working in the public interest and are committed to increasing access to justice in our local community. Our volunteer students follow training sessions on professionalism, ethics, as well as specialized topics for certain projects. The students make 3 to 5 volunteer hours per weekas part of their project. Projects last five months: October, November, January, February and March (60-100 hours).
