Professional artists face several questions in the exercise of their profession. the  project consists of transmitting legal information to New Brunswick artists.

 

The goal of the project is to provide legal information to New Brunswick artists by informing them of possible solutions to the questions they are asking. The project has two parts:

1. Research: The students will do research on the different topics covered and will propose some answers using legal information. The presentation of legal information will be done through a Word type document that will be shared with the staff of the organization.

2. Presentation: The students will set up a PowerPoint-type presentation based on the research they will have carried out and presented to the staff of the organization during the first part of this project. This presentation will then be delivered at various times in February 2023 by videoconference.

 

Criteria:  

  • Have taken the DROI1012 course: Contractual obligations;

  • Ability to deal with the project in complete confidentiality; 

  • Excellent research, written and oral communication skills ; 

  • Initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team; and

  • Have an open mind.

Asset: 

  • Have taken the course DROI3546: Intellectual property.
